Grades and Quality Points
Final Grades
Final grades are due as published in the Academic Calendar. All official final grades can be accessed in KC Self-Service under "Grades."
Students who believe a final grade was calculated incorrectly or was assigned in an arbitrary, capricious, or unfair manner should follow the procedures outlined in the Course Grade Appeal Policy.
Field Period® courses are assigned grades on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) basis. Final grades for Field Period courses are due according to the deadlines published in the Academic Calendar.
Keuka College does not maintain a standard institutional numeric-to-letter grade conversion scale. Numeric grading scales are established at the discretion of the instructor, and where applicable, the academic division. As a result, grading scales may vary among courses and academic divisions. The grading scale for each course must be published in the course syllabus.
Mid-Term Grades
Final grades are due as published in the Academic Calendar. All official final grades can be accessed in KC Self-Service under "Grading." Mid-Term Progress Reports are submitted for all courses, with the exception of Field Period. Mid-Term Progress Reports are entered as Satisfactory, Needs Improvement or Unsatisfactory.
