Athletic Eligibility

Policy

Each student-athlete is required to maintain good standing as defined by Keuka College’s Academic Standards and NCAA academic policies. Details on meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress can be found in the Keuka Record. Student-athletes that fail to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress may have restrictions placed on their involvement.

Student-athletes are also expected to maintain full-time status; actively enrolled in 12 credits per semester (with few exceptions). Dropping below 12 credit hours per semester will classify a student as INELIGIBLE for the season unless the individual is in their final academic semester. Every student-athlete is allotted 10 full-time semesters to complete four seasons of varsity competition.

Students who enter Keuka College from other four-year institutions or from a two-year college must meet the eligibility requirements of the NCAA before they participate in intercollegiate competition. Complete details regarding transfer eligibility are available from the Director of Athletics.
