Independent Study
An Independent Study is designed to give the student with adequate qualifications an opportunity to undertake a self-directed study of a particular topic or subject not regularly offered by the College, under the guidance of a sponsoring faculty member. The title of the Independent Study will be included on the student’s permanent academic record. The student may not register for more than one Independent Study during one semester. Registration for an Independent Study must be completed by the fifth day of the semester in which it is to take place. The student will be assessed a fee for each Independent Study.
