EDU-322 Instructional Design †
Students examine rationally consistent basis for the design, development, and evaluation of instruction based on cognitive psychology and information-processing theory. This course will prepare prospective instructors to design and develop a course, unit, and module of instruction, and evaluate learner outcomes. Using the nine stages of instructional design procedure and integrating current research and practice in performance systems technology, this course provides applicable skills in any discipline where teaching or training is required. Likewise, this course emphasizes the social and cultural context of learning, learner-centered principles, and the affordances of new technologies, digital learning, and learning environments.
