Washington and Albany Semester Programs
A limited number of upper-class Political Science and History majors and others may participate in the Washington or Albany Semester Programs. The Washington Semester Program is sponsored and coordinated by SUNY Brockport. It includes internship, seminar, and research components.
The Albany Legislative Internship is sponsored and operated by a bipartisan Assembly committee. College students have the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge and experience in the state government process.
Keuka College students may acquire a maximum of 15 semester credit hours in this program. Students wishing to participate in either program should consult a member of the Political Science and History faculty during the spring semester prior to their enrollment in the program. Approval (prior to the experience) must be received from the Division of Basic Applied Social Sciences and the Provost or designee.
