Degrees with Distinction

Keuka College believes the achievement of high academic standards is very important. In order to promote, encourage, and recognize academic excellence, Degrees with Distinction are awarded to graduating seniors upon the recommendation of faculty.

Eligibility for an award of Degree with Distinction is based on the earned cumulative grade point average as follows:

Transfer students must have taken a minimum of 30 semester credits at Keuka College, in order to qualify for any of the Degrees with Distinction. In the computation of commencement honors, only coursework completed at Keuka College will count towards the calculation of a Degree with Distinction.

A student may not obtain a higher honor than his/her Keuka College grade point average indicates. 

Degrees with distinction are not awarded to students pursuing graduate or certificate programs.
