Conflicts of Interest
All College employees are expected to conduct business in a manner that avoids actual or potential conflicts of interest. Whenever an employee is in a position to influence a decision that may result in personal gain for that employee, or for a relative, as a result of the College’s business dealings, there may be an actual or potential conflict of interest. Personal gain may result not only in cases where an employee or relative has a significant ownership in a business which the College does business with, but also when an employee or relative receives any kickback, bribe, substantial gift, or other special treatment or consideration as a result of any transaction or business dealings involving the College.
All employees are required to disclose any actual or perceived conflicts of interest to their immediate supervisor, Department and/or Division Head, and The Office of Human Resources, as soon as possible. For more information on conflicts of interest, or to raise any other concerns regarding this policy, please contact The Office of Human Resources.
