Employee Handbook 2024-2025

Welcome From the President

Welcome to Keuka College!

Welcome to Keuka College! Our employees are the heart and soul of all that we do at the College and contribute directly to our growth and success – and, more importantly, to the success of our students. I’m glad you’ve joined us and I hope you’ll take pride in being a member of our team.

Keuka College is driven by its shared values, and we support one another’s contributions with respect, appreciation, and care. We value diversity in all its forms and encourage all employees to share their skills, creativity, and enthusiasm toward our mission of creating exemplary citizens and leaders to serve the nation and the world.

The College was founded in 1890 and is located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York’s Finger Lakes region. We’re a private, residential college that offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs on campus and through our Evening and Online programs across much of central and western New York. We also operate successful international programs in China and Vietnam.

The College’s 290-acre campus hosts approximately 1,000 students, more than 200 employees, and upwards of 5,000 summer conference guests.

The purpose of this Handbook is to:

  • Briefly describe the College’s expectations of our employees;
  • Outline policies, programs, and benefits available to eligible employees; and
  • Provide important information about our policies, practices, and procedures.

Employees should read through this Handbook carefully. It will provide answers to many of the questions you may have about employment with the College. It will also serve as a valuable resource as you continue your employment with us.

I sincerely hope that your experience with us will be challenging, enjoyable, and rewarding!

Sincerely,

Amy Storey, President
