Under Enrolled Courses

Minimum enrollment for course sections is determined by the following:

• A minimum of seven students is required for undergraduate course sections
• A minimum of five students is required for graduate course sections
  

Courses that fall below the minimum enrollment standards will be reviewed by the division, the Registrar’s Office, and the Provost, and will be subject to cancellation. Course sections may also be cancelled by the Division Chair due to varying factors such as course maintenance, program needs, staffing concerns, and/or scheduling conflicts.

Students must monitor cancellation communications and their semester schedule and add courses as needed to retain full-time enrollment. If a course section is cancelled, the student must be aware of the possible financial aid implications of remaining below full-time status (12 credits for undergraduate and 9 credits for graduate).
