Course Classifications

Some classes will carry additional attributes such as liberal arts, and honors-level. Courses will be designated as such within the course section of the Catalog.

Liberal Arts Courses: In accordance with NYSED, the liberal arts and sciences comprise the disciplines of the humanities, natural sciences
and mathematics, and social sciences. These courses are typically theory-based rather than vocational.
