Divisional Placement Assessment

To ensure that students are enrolled in a class that most clearly fits their skills, experience and needs, the College administers the following placement tests to traditional incoming undergraduate students:

• A self-guided English and Writing assessment (first-year students)
•  A Math placement (Natural Science and Mathematics, Health Sciences, and Education majors)
• American Sign Language (ASL/AEI and Education with ASL majors only)

Keuka College does not allow students to test out of specific degree requirements. Placement exams must be completed prior to the first day of class. Returning students who are missing placement results should contact the Registrar's Office for guidance. There is no fee for these examinations and no academic credit is awarded.
