OCC-340 Occupational Engagement Across the Lifespan
This course explores the intricate relationship between human development and occupational engagement from infancy through end of life. Drawing on theories and research from occupational therapy, psychology, sociology, and other relevant disciplines, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how occupational engagement evolves and impacts individuals' overall well-being. By exploring the interplay between biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors, students will develop a nuanced perspective on the complex dynamics of occupational development. Students will understand factors that influence individuals achieving meaningful and fulfilling lives through engagement in occupations that are congruent with their developmental needs and goals.
