Article I: Purpose
The name of this organization shall be the Keuka College Academic Faculty. Its purpose shall be to provide instruction; to enact educational policies; to prescribe and define courses of study; to determine the academic programs and the requirements for degrees; to recommend to the Board of Trustees such candidates for degrees as may have fulfilled the requirements thereof; to exercise jurisdiction over all other educational matters; to enact and enforce rules for the guidance and supervision of students in their academic work; to increase the usefulness of and advance the standards, ideals, and welfare of the Faculty; and to foster a sense of academic responsibility and achievement at Keuka College, subject to approval of the Board of Trustees.
