Secondary Employment
An exempt full-time employee (regularly scheduled to work 40 hours per week) is normally appointed to one position at one established rate of pay. Under certain circumstances, the College may allow secondary employment for a permanent full-time employee. Employees must notify their supervisor prior to engaging in any secondary employment. Secondary employment must not adversely affect the employee’s primary position or create a conflict of interest. Employees are expected to continue to meet all duties, responsibilities, and performance expectations of their primary position.
