Employment between employees and the College is “employment at will” unless otherwise explicitly specified and signed in writing. This means that the employment relationship may be terminated by the college at any time for any reason. The employee may resign at any time. The College also reserves the right to terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice.

Involuntary Separation of Employment

Involuntary separation is a separation from employment which is initiated by the College. This may include, but is not necessarily limited to termination for performance, misconduct, policy violations, layoffs, reductions in force, or retrenchments (elimination of positions).

Employees are obligated to return all College property and information upon separation. The College reserves the right to recover any property belonging to the College that has not been returned to the fullest extent possible under the law.
