Spanish

The Spanish Program at Keuka College offers courses in Spanish language and Hispanic culture, Latin American society and literature, and intercultural communication. Combined with experiential learning, these courses support our students’ growth as global citizens and leaders in their fields. The minor in Spanish and Intercultural Studies emphasizes community-engaged language learning and development of intercultural communication skills to prepare students in all programs for both professional and personal contexts. Education majors may also elect a Spanish concentration. The Spanish Program includes opportunities for real-world experiences, from working with local organizations in healthcare and education, to international Field Periods® in destinations such as Spain, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua.
