College-Sponsored International Travel Policy
Keuka College defines “College-Sponsored Travel” as any trip organized and approved by college personnel or that leads students to earning academic credit. All international College-Sponsored Travel is coordinated through and authorized by the Provost's Office.
Keuka College will not allow travel to any country with a level 3 (reconsider travel) or a level 4 (do not travel) advisory level as determined by the Department of State.
Requirements for College-sponsored Travel:
- Sophomore standing (minimum of 24 credits completed) or higher, with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Requirements for Alternative Spring Break may vary.
- Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing.
- All required paperwork must be filed with the Center for Experiential Learning by stipulated deadlines.
Enclosures to be completed and returned:
- Keuka College Code of Conduct Agreement
- Keuka College Parental Statement, Student Medical Release and Emergency Contact form
Additional documents required to be submitted:
- Copy of the student’s government-issued ID and/or passport
- Copy of the itinerary/schedule (including flights)
- Proof of travel insurance (including repatriation)
- Proof of Embassy registration
