OCC-521 Scholarship in Occupational Therapy I

This course is designed to facilitate the application of knowledge and skills related to scholarship, research, and the use of evidence in OT practice. Class meetings will include lecture, discussion groups, peer presentations, and learning activities built around the generation and application of scholarly knowledge. Students will engage in the development of a research proposal on a self-selected topic, and will identify areas for future scholarship. In addition, students will participate in small-group, faculty-directed scholarly activities, designed to build knowledge and skills while engaging students in a range of scholarly activities relevant to OT practice.
