AEI-265 Introduction to Interpreting

This course provides a scope of the interpreting profession and its roles, responsibilities, and ethics within the interpreting profession. Language registers, interpreting models and processes, and interpreting practices will be explored and examined.  Guidelines, protocols, practices, and trends are discussed in interpreting settings in accordance to the national, professional, and international associations.
