KC-201A Wellness: Life Design † *
In this course, students explore the eight dimensions of wellness and develop a wellness mindset through the lens of the course topic. Through participation in experiential and problem-solving activities, students will acquire knowledge and skills that support the practice of wellness in daily life. Students will be guided, through self-assessment and reflection, to identify areas in their life where the practice of wellness will be most beneficial. Finally, students will develop an individualized wellness plan to positively impact self and others. Students may take up to three different Wellness topics for credit. This course is an interactive journey into life design and explores essential topics for thriving in college and beyond. Possible subjects include financial skills, navigating civic responsibilities, legal know-how, personal growth, and building a resilient, growth-focused mindset. By the end of this course, students will have a personalized toolkit for success across all areas of their life, grounded in wellness and designed by themselves.
