BUS-302 Advanced Business Law
This course explores, among other things, bankruptcy, agency, real and personal property, partnerships, corporations, sales, secured transactions, legal liability of accountants, and the Securities Acts of 1933 and 1934. Cases from New York law are used extensively to assist the student in understanding everyday applications of the law. This course is required for, but not restricted to, accounting majors and provides preparation, in part, for the Uniform Certified Public Accounting Examination (Law Part).
