Payment Schedule
Keuka College is proud of its efforts to help make education affordable for all students. With Keuka College's assistance, the options available to students and their families to finance all or part of their education are numerous. In the cases of sponsorship (including a student’s employer), the charges remain the student’s individual responsibility until the College receives payment from the sponsor.
All charges are the student’s responsibility. New and returning students must pay the balance due on their billing statement in full or make other acceptable payment arrangements with the College’s Student Accounts Office no later than August 1 for fall semester, and January 15 for spring semester. Students who have not made payment arrangements prior to the billing statement due date will be unenrolled from the College prior to the first day of classes.
Students can view and pay their bill online in KC Self-Service. All checks should be made payable to Keuka College and sent to the remit address on the statement. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover charges are also accepted. Students who are anticipating financial aid from the College’s Financial Aid Office may also be charged interest on the outstanding balance on their accounts if all required documentation has not been submitted to the satisfaction of the Financial Aid Office.
Student status (i.e. full time/part time) will not be adjusted after the end of the add/drop period.
If a student leaves the College with an unpaid balance, payment arrangements must be made with the Student Accounts Office prior to the student's withdrawal. If the student fails to pay the College in accordance with the agreed upon payment plan and if Keuka College engages the service of a collection agency or takes legal action for any account balance, the student will be liable and shall pay the fees of any collection agency, which may be based on a percentage at a maximum of 33.3% of the debt, and all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, incurred in attempting to collect the outstanding debt.
Invoices are mailed at the beginning of each semester to the student’s permanent address on file. All charges are due upon receipt of the College’s statement. Charges remaining on the student’s account for more than 30 days beyond the charges’ individual due dates will accrue interest at the rate of one percent per month. Students are responsible for ensuring their permanent address is current in KC Self-Service.
The College reserves the right to disallow class attendance and/or diplomas if financial obligations are not met when due.
*As financial aid and payments are received, they will be applied as follows: tuition, mandatory fees (comprehensive fees, health insurance, course fees, etc.), room, board, and other fees (finance charges, parking violations, etc.).
Monthly Payment Plans
Convenient alternatives to paying College costs by the semester are offered to qualifying students and parents. These plans allow for the payment of charges (or portions of charges) on a monthly or semester basis and are managed for Keuka College through Nelnet. Information on the payment plans are available through the Student Accounts Office.
