Community Health and Wellness
Keuka College offers a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Wellness with concentration options in Health Administration or Human Services. The Community Health and Wellness major is for students who are interested in non-clinical careers in the health care field. Career options may include medical case management, corporate wellness, medical claims adjuster, human services, medical sales, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, administration, and more. The degree will allow students the foundational knowledge and skills to enter one of the nation’s fastest-growing job sectors and/or transition to graduate education in their chosen concentration.
Graduates from the Community Health and Wellness program may also be qualified to enter either a graduate or professional health service program, such as health services administration, public health, health informatics, or hospital administration.
The Community Health and Wellness curriculum includes courses that develop foundational knowledge in psychology, computer literacy, business, health care ethics, and population health. The capstone course sequence includes coursework and two required internship experiences appropriate for the chosen concentration.
