Natural Sciences and Mathematics
The Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics includes the disciplines of biology, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics, and physics. The division offers majors leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and the Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science. We also collaborate with the Division of Business and Management to offer an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Finance and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sustainability. Additionally, we work with the division of educational studies to deliver bachelor of arts degrees in adolescent biology education and adolescent mathematics education.
Students who major in biology are well-prepared for entry into pre-professional programs such as medical, veterinary, or pharmacy school.
