Criminology and Criminal Justice
The criminology and criminal justice degree program at Keuka College is based upon three dimensions of academic training: 1) a strong foundational and working knowledge of the criminal justice system, criminal laws, law enforcement, the courts and corrections, 2) a working understanding of crime and criminal behavior, the treatment of crime, and crime victims; and 3) intensive, applied professional development through Field Period and internship experiences and fundamental research skill development.
Student graduating from our program will have a foundation for understanding and investigating the relationship between social forces and crime. The criminological components of this program directly respond to those students interested in applying knowledge to make change.
