SWK-260 Gender and Sexuality in Social Work Practice

This course focuses on introducing students to the theory and practice of gender issues and issues of concern for the LGBTQ+ community. This course will cover topics related to theories of gender and sexuality development, the effects of gender and sexuality diversity across the lifespan and providing a foundation for students to explore the diverse aspects of working with clients in relation to their gender and sexuality identity.
