Adolescent Literacy II
The follow-up course to
EDU-357
emphasizes assessing literacy skills in adolescent learners and their application to content-area learning. Students will explore key theories and research on language structure and acquisition to support English language learners (ELLs) in developing language proficiency and achieving success in content areas. A significant focus of the course is on assessment, diagnosis, and remediation strategies.
