NUR-645 Pediatric Health
This course focuses on the biological and behavioral phenomena of concern in the care of children and adolescents. Health promotion, clinical presentation, diagnostic reasoning, evaluation, and management of health needs of children and adolescents are explored. Students apply the principles of health assessment, diagnosis and treatment of acute, episodic and chronic health issues of children and adolescents. Patient education, advocacy, and evidence-based practice are incorporated in a holistic family-centered approach to providing comprehensive care.
