Students analyze seminal and current educational models and theories as they inform effective curriculum design, learning environments, teaching practices, and student development. Current research in nursing education and higher education is explored as the foundation for implementing evidence-based teaching practices that support adults' intellectual development and professional formation. Students reflect on their experiences as adult learners through the lens of educational theory and identify those theories that resonate with their emerging philosophy of teaching.
