DL-320 Data Analytics and Modeling
The purpose of this course is to build on the concepts learned in DL-311 Exploratory Data Analysis and Visualization. Advanced visualization techniques will be introduced to the student. The course will include visualizing multivariate data and an introduction to modeling techniques. Modeling techniques will include regression (including multivariate and logistic) and categorization (e.g., k-nearest neighbor, k-means, and decision trees) used in forecasting and prediction. An introduction in handling time-series data will also be covered. This course builds on what the student learned in the Data Formats and Management 200 level courses.
