Payment Schedule
Keuka College is proud of its efforts to help make its education affordable to all who seek admission. The options available to parents and students to finance a part of their education, with Keuka College’s assistance, are numerous. In the cases of sponsorship (including a student’s employer), the charges remain the student’s individual responsibility until the College receives payment from the sponsor.
All charges are the student’s responsibility. New and returning students are expected to forward their remittance or make other acceptable arrangements with the College’s student accounts office by August 1 for fall semester, and January 15 for spring semester, or risk de-registration of classes. *
All checks should be made payable to Keuka College and sent to the remit address on the statement. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover charges are also accepted. Students who are anticipating financial aid from the College’s Office of Financial Aid may also be charged interest on the outstanding balance on their accounts if all required documentation has not been submitted to the satisfaction of the financial aid office.
Student status (i.e., full time/part time) will not be adjusted after the end of the add/drop period.
If a student leaves the College with an unpaid balance, payment arrangements must be made with the student accounts office. If the student fails to pay the College when promised payment is due, the outstanding principal and interest will be placed in collection. Students will be responsible for all collection or litigation costs related to the collection of their accounts.
Invoices are mailed at the beginning of each semester to the student’s permanent address as provided by the student. All charges are due upon receipt of the College’s statement. Charges remaining on the student’s account for more than 30 days beyond the charges’ individual due dates will accrue interest at the rate of one percent per month.
The College reserves the right to disallow class attendance, grades, transcripts, or diplomas if financial obligations are not met when due.
*As financial aid and payments are received, they will be applied as follows: tuition, mandatory fees (comprehensive fees, health insurance, course fees etc.), room, board, and other fees (finance charges, parking violations, etc.).
Monthly Payment Plans
Convenient alternatives to paying College costs by the semester are offered to qualifying students and parents. These plans allow for the payment of charges (or portions of charges) on a monthly or semester basis and are managed for Keuka College through Nelnet. Information on the payment plans are available through the Office of Student Accounts.
