NUR-374 Maternal Child Health
This is a theory and practicum course where the student integrates knowledge based in science and grounded by the humanities which explores maternal-child nursing concepts and professional role development to ensure a solid educational foundation. Nursing’s unique body of knowledge is used to implement evidence-based care for persons (individuals, families and communities) during antepartum, intrapartum and post-partum periods. Special emphasis is placed on reflective practice and a collaborative team approach to provide holistic care.
