NUR-365 Nursing History and Theory

This is a theory based nursing course where the student integrates knowledge based in science and grounded in the humanities through the exploration of the history of nursing related theories and professional role development to ensure a solid educational foundation.  The contributions of nurse leaders, their historical context and impact on nursing practice are discussed.  Special emphasis is placed on reflective practice in a collaborative team approach to provide holistic care across the lifespan.
