Keuka College Award Programs
Students apply for Keuka College financial assistance by completing a FAFSA (or renewal FAFSA), and a NYS TAP Application (for New York state residents). After all eligibility requirements have been met, funds are credited (one payment per semester/ per term, unless otherwise indicated) to the student’s account. Additional application information and criteria specific to each program are listed below. All Keuka College scholarships are for traditional undergraduate admissions and based on full-time status. Keuka College grants/scholarships are only available for your first four years of undergraduate study (maximum of 8 semesters).
Alumni Associate Award for Excellence Scholarship
Offered to high school seniors, this is a competitive scholarship program based on academic achievement. Recipients are typically in the top 1/3 of their class. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Recipients must be full-time, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and reside in on-campus housing for renewal. Scholarship is not based on financial need. New students will need a 3.5-4.0 grade point average to be eligible.
Keuka Presidential Scholarship
Offered to high school seniors who have strong academic records. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study provided the student is full-time status, satisfactory academic progress and continues to reside in on-campus housing . Scholarship is not based on financial need. New students will need a 3.0-3.49 grade point average to be eligible
Keuka College Gold Scholars Award
Offered to high school seniors who have a grade point average between 2.5-2.99. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study as long as the student maintains full-time status,satisfactory academic progress, and continues to reside in on-campus housing.
Keuka Acorn Award
Offered to high school seniors who have a grade point average between 2.0 – 2.49. Scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study as long as the student maintains full-time status, satisfactory academic progress, and continues to reside in on-campus housing.
Community Achievement Award
This award is offered to high school seniors who have made a significant impact on their community through volunteer service. This award is given to five incoming freshmen each academic year, one each month, September through January. Recipients must be full-time, are required to maintain satisfactory progress and reside in on-campus housing for renewal.
Keuka College 911 Service Scholarship
For recipients of the World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship, the portion of tuition, room and board not covered by that scholarship or other grants will be covered by the 911 Service Scholarship. For application information on the World Trade Center Scholarship, go to www.hesc.com to print an application, or call 1-800-NYS-HESC. Recipients must be full-time undergraduate students who are matriculated in an approved program in New York state.
International Scholarship
Scholarships may be awarded to international students accepted to the College who are not eligible to apply for federal or state aid. This scholarship is awarded based on a tiered rating system for an academic year. Two full-tuition scholarships may be available on a first-come, first served basis to students with exceptional academic records. Renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Recipients must be full-time, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and reside in on-campus housing to continue to receive the full amount of the scholarship.
Keuka College Family Award
Scholarships awarded to members of the same immediate family attending Keuka College at the same time (both must be attending full-time). Renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Recipients must be full time, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and reside in on-campus housing to continue to receive the full amount of the scholarship.
Keuka College Urban League of Rochester Scholarship
Five scholarships will be made available to students who are enrolled in the Black Scholars/ Early Recognition program. Renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study. Student must maintain satisfactory academic progress, live in on-campus housing, and remain in full-time status to continue to receive the full amount of the scholarship each year.
Transfer Achievement Award
A merit scholarship is available to transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5+ upon entrance to Keuka College.. This scholarship is guaranteed for up to four years of undergraduate study provided the student is full-time and maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Transfer Scholarship
A merit scholarship is available to transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 to 3.499 upon entrance to Keuka College. Students who do not meet the 3.0 guideline may be eligible to receive funds under this award based on both academic achievement and financial need. This scholarship is guaranteed for up to four years of undergraduate study provided the student is full- time and maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Transfer Acorn Scholarship
A merit scholarship is available to transfer students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to 3.24 upon entrance to Keuka College. This scholarship is guaranteed for up to four years of undergraduate study provided the student is full-time and maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
An academic scholarship for traditional undergraduate transfer students. This scholarship is renewable if the student remains in good academic standing and maintains full- time status. Applicant must be a current member of Phi Theta Kappa and provide proof of membership at the time of application to be eligible.
Keuka College Grant
Grant given to students who have demonstrated financial need. Recipients must be full time, maintain satisfactory academic progress, reside in on-campus housing and continue to demonstrate financial need to receive the full amount of the scholarship.
Keuka College Work Study
Part-time employment opportunities are available on campus for students not demonstrating financial eligibility for federal work study. The student employment (work study) program helps undergraduate students in the traditional academic program to practice and learn valuable work-related skills and helps them meet their educational and personal expenses while at Keuka College. Program staff serve as mentors for both students and work supervisors to enhance the student’s job skills competence and to help the student develop a sound foundation for a successful career. A wide range of work study jobs are available to students each semester.
