Adventure Program
Keuka College Outdoor Adventure is comprised of three components: Leadership and Team building (AKA our TeamWorks! Program), On & Off Campus Adventures, and the new Outdoor Adventure shared-interest community. Our goal is to make adventure accessible to everyone, and use it in a manner that will allow students to develop personally, academically, and professionally.
Our trips and programs are open to all students and provide opportunities to make new friends, learn, try new things, break out of comfort zones, and have fun! Some examples of on and off campus programs include: white water rafting, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, hiking mountains, traversing out high ropes course, paddling Keuka Lake and much more. Students of all skill and experience levels are welcome to come and try something that will get their adrenaline pumping.
Our TeamWorks! program is used in orientations, classrooms, and by a variety of other organizations on campus. This high and low challenge course and portable program is used to supplement academic coursework, develop stronger groups, and enhance a student’s leadership style plus much more. Any full time student may request a program for their club, group, class or team at no cost!
Our new Outdoor Adventure shared interest community is open to all incoming Freshman each academic year, and challenges students to enhance their leadership skills, outdoor acumen, and sense of adventure. In this community students will learn about and test their skills in backpacking, boating, orienteering, and ropes course facilitating, and will focus on becoming a leader on campus.
