POL-340 Law, Politics and Society †

This course will examine the role that law plays in both the U.S. and internationally, emphasizing the relationship between judges, courts, and society. Particular focus will be placed on the globalization of law and judicial transnationalism, as well as the importance of the legitimacy of judges and courts for democracy and political development.
