AEI-275 Translation Theory/Practice: ASL & ENG

An introduction to the principles of text translation. Practical application of theory occurs through translations of various source texts and video recordings. Attention is given to form, meaning and sense with the goal of producing culturally appropriate target language texts with equivalent pragmatics as compared to their source texts.
