Interim Discipline Measures
Keuka College reserves the right to impose temporary measures on a student’s access to the college to protect the general welfare of the campus community, pending the outcome of a formal disciplinary process. If the Coordinator of Student Conduct and Community Standards or designee judges that a student’s continued presence at Keuka College poses a significant threat to the health, safety, or welfare of the campus community or any individuals therein, they may recommend to the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students or designee that the student be interim suspended from Keuka College. If approved, the college may impose interim measures up to and including immediate suspension from Keuka College, which may remain in place pending the outcome of the formal disciplinary process. In order to mitigate academic repercussions, a student may schedule a disciplinary hearing to resolve the matter as expeditiously as possible and is encouraged to do so. Any student subject to an interim suspension may request a review of the interim measures by the Dean of Student Success and Chief Retention Officer or designee.
