Career Readiness
Using a personalized life design approach, the Assistant Director of Career Readiness Initiatives helps students connect emotionally, socially, and cognitively to their careers. This includes supporting students as they explore their personalities, interests, and strengths to help them choose a major, internship, or job that will lead to a fulfilling and engaging career.
Through individualized Career Readiness Counseling sessions in the Center for Experiential Learning and Career Readiness, group workshops, and class visits, our facilitator works with faculty and students to ensure our graduates have reached career readiness competencies such as critical thinking, professionalism, communication, teamwork, and leadership. Students also receive hands-on support in crafting their resumes and cover letters, developing their interviewing skills, and learning how to network. Acting as a bridge connecting the College and the workforce, the Office of Career Readiness continues to support all Keuka students even after they graduate, by offering career design resources and networking opportunities to alumni.
