CHM-350 Inorganic Chemistry †
This course will present a survey of the chemistry of the elements and their compounds, with a focus on atomic and molecular structure, periodicity, bonding, and chemical reactivity. Topics will include bonding models, molecular symmetry and structure, reactivity, and properties of transition metal complexes. Applications in the areas of bioinorganic, solid-state, and organometallic chemistry will be discussed.
