SOC-100 Sociology First Year Workshop

A one credit hour workshop for the purpose of:

1) socializing students to the process of building the Learning Portfolio;

2) orienting to occupations/careers (and related processes) in social science, criminal justice, and related fields;

3) demonstrating linkages between academic training, applied work, and specific occupational roles; and

4) fostering an appreciation for practices consistent with lifelong learning and continued professional development.
