Associate Vice President for Student Affairs
The Associate Vice President for Student Affairs oversees the administration of the campus-wide housing and residence life program. This includes providing an inclusive residential atmosphere that offers opportunities for students to be engaged in both the curricular and co-curricular environment.
Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life
The Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life provides administrative and project support within the overall Housing and Residence Life Program. This position oversees critical housing processes including new student room assignments, housing selection, room changes and the exception to residency policy. The Assistant Director also frequently responds to questions and concerns of students, parents and the public regarding housing issues and oversees one or more campus residential living units (residence hall or apartment complex).
Resident Directors (RDs)
The resident director is a professional staff member who resides in a residence hall and promotes student growth and development within his/her building(s). The resident director also supervises the resident assistants within their building(s).
Head Resident Assistants (HRAs)
The head resident assistant is a trained student residence life staff member who resides in a residence hall and promotes student growth and development within his/her building(s). The head resident assistant also supervises the resident assistants within their building in conjunction with a professional staff member.
Resident Assistants (RAs)
Resident assistants are trained student residence life staff members who supervise a residential area (floor or section). Each resident assistant is trained to ensure that the guidelines for residential living are maintained and that the residential environment is conducive to meeting the living/learning needs of the resident student population.
