Financial Assistance
The underlying philosophy of financial assistance is that no student should be denied access to a college education solely on the basis of economic constraints. At Keuka College, we adhere to this belief, and for more than 100 years have helped students afford the quality education offered at Keuka.
Keuka College participates in a number of federal and state financial aid programs. Financial aid is also made available through the generosity of alumni and friends of the College in the form of grants and scholarships.
All financial aid programs can be divided into four categories:
- GRANTS—These financial aid programs are gift-type aid not requiring repayment, and are awarded on a racially non-discriminatory basis.
- SCHOLARSHIPS—These are also gifts of aid awarded in recognition of academic ability on a racially non-discriminatory basis. Some also may have special requirements such as a major or class year in school.
- EMPLOYMENT—Part-time employment is available within the College to help students with their educational expenses.
- LOANS—Loans are awarded to students with the agreement that they will be repaid.
