The Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) funded in part by the New York State Department of Education was created in 1969 by the New York State Legislature to assist in providing access to college for New York residents.  HEOP is an academic program that has a financial component and students must meet both for full consideration. Our program provides college access, academic support, and financial assistance to students who show promise for mastering college level work but whom may have otherwise not been admitted.    At Keuka College, our team of HEOP advisors, located in Hegeman Hall 106, works closely with our HEOP students to ensure their success.  Our HEOP staff fosters an environment that supports and embraces inclusivity, critical thinking through engagement and vibrant debates on a variety of issues.  Students are encouraged to engage in campus activities that build a diverse portfolio for their success.  In addition, our office has adopts a holistic and intrusive advising model that is another layer to ensuring that our students are successful and persist to graduation.  Keuka College is one of the 56 HEOP offices located in 52 colleges and universities in the state of New York.
